ROSADO RANDEMAR BOTELLA

Viña Pomal Crianza is a red wine from the D.O. Rioja produced by Bodegas Bilbainas, a winery that was born in 1901 thanks to a group of Bilbao businessmen. Don Santiago de Ugarte was the co-founder and first Managing Director of Bodegas Bilbainas.
The climate in this area is moderate continental with Cantabrian influences but very subtle since the Sierra de Cantabria acts as a natural barrier against cold winds from the north.
This wine is a monovarietal of Tempranillo (100%) from 90 hectares of own vineyards located in the municipality of Haro. The vineyards are planted between 380 and 500 meters above sea level.
Regarding the production, Viña Pomal Crianza goes through a traditional winemaking process. After destemming and crushing, alcoholic fermentation takes place. Subsequently, a total maceration is carried out for two weeks.
Finally, this wine remains 12 months in American oak barrels and a minimum of 6 months in the bottle.
